Geri actually discovered this blue bird at the swap meet and showed it to me. It was $1. She said I could have it if I wanted. This is now my window view while I sit at my computer desk. It's pretty amazing to me how such a simple thing can bring me such joy.

How cute! Yes! I agree with you whole heartedly about the simple pleasures in life. I want to get one of those Japanese wind chime. It reminds me so much of my Baachan and Jiichan. They had one at their house and when I hear it and see it now, it reminds me so much about spending my summers at their house when I was little.
This made me smile. You think of the cutest things! We finally got some sugar kiss melons here. I couldn't wait to taste it. It didn't disappoint! I bought 5 of them already. So addicting! I'll never buy a regular melon again!

Izsmom
So true! Mari Kondo's philosophy about keeping things or tossing them is all about the joy.
that's so cute!
It's like a aquarium, the calming and peaceful feeing it gives. Know what you mean.
What kind of fruit tree is that in the background ?
Oh Izsmom . . . such a cool memory!
Aunty, this one really sparks joy!
Isn't it, Les!

It's a tangerine tree, Julie.
