Stay Back

I was driving home one day and saw this truck.  It was in front of the car in front of me. We were stopped at a red light when I took this photo.  It says "STAY 200 FEET BACK. NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BROKEN WINDSHIELDS. "

I'm wondering . . . how can you stay back that far?

The sign on the truck is actually for when it is rolling down the freeway at speed. To stop the lawsuits. It's probably a dump truck that used to carry rocks. Rocks bounce off at speed and break windshields. That looks like an old truck that was imported from the mainland. That sign has not been on trucks for over 30 years. I was a cross country truck driver of 18 wheelers right out of college. I have seen this before. Time to repaint their old nasty truck for God's sake!....LOL ; )

I go around them if there is more then one lane. A small rock cracked my windshield once. I started as a quarter size spiderweb and slowly traveled across the entire windshield.
