Pumpkin Spice Bread and Leftover Pot Roast

Here's the Dassant Pumpkin Spice Bread fresh out of the oven. Look how high it rose!!

It was a bit more spicy and a bit less pumpkiny than I expected . . .

but it was still good. Sorry I don't have an extra box to give away, but you can order it through Amazon (6 pack) or according to reader Lulu you can sometimes find the mix at Ross.

In my broccoli/shiitake mushroom-induced haze yesterday I forgot to take pictures of my pot roast. I dug it out of the 'fridge just now so that I could show you the leftovers. Not quite so ono-looking cold . . .

but I did post the recipe a couple of years ago with an "action" shot of the meat sizzling in the pot, so try click on my link to see a better picture. It's probably my most favorite thing to cook 'cause it's so easy to make.

Everything looks sooo good, Jalna. How much is 1 box?

Amazon only sells the 6-pack, Mmiissee. It's about $15 for the Pumpkin Bread and $16.50 for the Brownie and the Lemon Cake.

Love fixing pot roast and yes, Jalna, so easy to make and so good to eat!! hahahaha!! The pumpkin bread looks good. The next time you make some, after you grease the pan try sprinkle some sugar in the pan. It will stick to whatever you used to grease the pan. The outside of the bread then has this wonderful sugary taste. So good. My daughter told me about doing that...

OMG Betty, that's a GREAT IDEA!! You must've read my mind 'cause I was thinking it needed something like that. I'm gonna pass on your suggestion to Yosh. Hope he didn't make his yet.
